PANDA can use ADAMS

Following implementation in June 2015 of the Canadian Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), which also applies to Word Anti-Doping Agency, there are no legal obstacles to the use of ADAMS by the Commission Against Doping in Sport. This has been confirmed unambiguously by the General Inspector for Personal Data Protection. Therefore, as of January 2016 the Commission Against Doping in Sport is planning to implement the basic modules of ADAMS, including doping test planning, analysis of athlete biological passport data and test result management. In the second quarter of 2016 two other modules will be implemented – therapeutic use exemptions and collection of athlete whereabouts information.
